Here's my daughter, Judy Kitchense.

Judy and her brothers. Taken at thunder bay regional hospital. January 27 Been in a hospital all day, went with Keenan Fontaine. They moved her to a different floor level, on the second floor. And she is still the same, no change except she didn't eat at all. Doctor said that everything seems alright. Where her sugery was done, it's healing good. and test results that were done look normal. Pain is on her stomach and her side mostly. She's been uncomfortable. She woulds sit for awhile and would lay back on her bed. Docter gave her different meds. Right now it's not helping her. or they just haven't kicked in yet. My two children are still here with me. Not sure when exactly there heading back home. I was looking at the moon outside. I almost started crying cause it reminded me of home :) Anyway, that is all for now. Going to call it a night soon. See what tomorrow brings. Good night. January 27 Good morning, i'm heading to the hospital again. I was told that she didn't get much sleep lastnight.So it was a rough night for her. And it's because of the pain on her side, rib area. Just to share quickly.. Getting dropped off now. I'll update again after we see the Doctor. Hopefully it's today.. January 26 I went to sit with Judy again at the hospital. seeing her crying in pain was hard for me to watch. seems like she's worse than she was yesterday. She didn't eat much today. And doctor hasn't come by to see her yet. Others are still here with us, they haven't gone back home yet. I just want to say that to continue to pray for Judy and for us. Quite a bit of people come to visit and sit with her. And i say thanks to all of you that remember her, that come and see Judy, and pray for her. Means alot to us. I will keep updating about my daughter. Nurse said that the doctor might come by tomorrow and see what the update will be. That's all for now. Good night. January 25 We just got back from the hospital. I was getting hungry and came to eat. Judy is in pain. But not where she had her surgery done. I'll be heading back to the hospital later on. We are trying to meet with her doctor. Her doctor was suppose to see her sometime today. She also had some blood work done. We haven't heard what the results are with that one. Everyone will be heading back tomorrow. So it's just gonna be me and the kitchense grandkids. I don't know yet if i'm going back. I might have to end up staying here in thunder bay. Thats my update about Judy at the moment. If anyone has seen my sister, Selena here in thunder bay. Or knows where she is. Can you forward a message to her that i need to speak with her. She knows my cell phone number for her to call me. thanks. January 24 Good evening. At the hospital at the moment with Judy. Here's the latest. Her stomach has been sore, numb. And she's been nauseated. She's been having fevers off and on all day. Doctors think that there's an infection somewhere. That's my update for this evening. January 23 I have no internet where i'm staying. So i called Jerry to update for me from back home. I'm going to share briefly how my Daughter's surgery went. If you haven't heard by now. Judy's surgery went very well. Doctor had said before the surgery that it would be in high risk and that she might not make it through because of her condition. The surgeon that operated her spoke to us and said that it went smoothly and everything fell in place with no difficulty. And was amazed how it went. As they wheeled her in to the room to get her surgery done. Her children were afraid, crying. She told her kids that she would be fine, that everything would be alright. After her operation, she was taken to ICU to be monitored for 24 hours. But she came out from that room less than 24hours. When it was time for me to see her, i went in with a minister who has been coming in to see her and praying for her. He went in to pray for her after the operation. As he was praying, my daughter was praying with him. At this time, i thank all those who prayed. I believe without your prayers, it would be a different story. Again, i ask that you keep praying for her. Thank you so much. I was talking to my son, Jerry. I was telling him that she looked better than the last time he seen her. I thank God for that. There's people who drop by to come and see her. To show support. She's still sore from the surgery. But other than that, the operation went well. She moved to a different room. At 3rd floor -3B. She goes by the name of Christine Kitchense. If anyone wants to visit her while in the city. That's all for now. January 21 Just a quick update to let readers know that she's on her way to her surgery. Jerry recieved a text from her little sister, saying they just wheeled her to the operating room. That is all for now. Good morning, My daughter, Judy is about to have her surgery this morning. There probably just getting her ready. Most of the family travelled to thunder bay lastnight, and arrived there safely. I myself will be traveling by plane this afternoon. I ask that you continue to pray for my Danis. I know there's alot out there that are praying for us. And with that, i say thank you to all of you. God bless you. January 20 We recieved a call from the hospital regarding my daughter. She will be having her surgery sometime tomorrow. We had asked that they let us know a head of time. So we can make our way to tbay again. But anyway..Like what i said.. this is going to be a very high risk surgery. I ask that you pray hard for my daughter. that she'll pull through. She was crying when she call, and is afraid. I ask that you pray also for us too. My heart is heavy and i feel sorry for my daughter. I copied this from Judy's page, my grandson updated for her...

The Surgeon just came by and said that the surgery will take place sometime tomorrow, the antibiotics they have been giving me hasn't been working as they hoped. There is pus and pressure building up where the infection is. That is why I have been in a lot of pain. He also said that he will be removing the bone that is infected and will replace it with discs. The surgery will take about 2-3 hours. The surgeon isn't looking forward to this because there is high risks that come with the surgery, like bleeding, kidneys might get worse and breathing problems. He said he will be cutting from the side and will be removing 1 rib and deflating 1 lung and that's where he'll go through to the spine. I will be in the ICU for 24 hrs if everything goes OK. That's everything and I'm scared about it, so pray for me.

Went to work with a heavy heart this morning. This is getting so hard for me to update about my daughter. My son in law called me this morning and said that Judy was in pain most of the night. I have to be strong for the sake of my children and grandchildren. I will try and update more after, I received a message to call the hospital when I got home from work. Tried calling there but there was no answer will try again in a while. January 19 It is now afternoon, and im still at home waiting and waiting. I called my boss this morning, told him to look for somebody to go check the truck, Kaniikah otah was the reply i got from him. Anyways I always tell him to make sure its plugged. I wanted to go work already. Thats one of the reasons why i came home, to come work for awhile. Because I dont know when I will get a call from the Regional Hospital. Whenever I get that call We have to go, and be with Judy and her Family Good Morning, Its belly belly cold out there. Almost froze my bom boms walking to where my work truck is, I mean my pinkers. I cant go to work yet, Truck is frozen. Good Day. January 18 I finally got through to Judy's room. She has a phone now. And the doctors said that the surgery is going to be happening, any time soon. They will tell us ahead of time, she wants us all to be there. So were just gonna drive home today, and go make some money for our expenses again. We will be come out as soon as we know when her surgery will be. This is a risky procedure they are going to do. I tried calling Judy's room, but I was told that there is no phone in her room. So I wont be able to update on her condition, cause i am not able to talk to her. Its usually hard to get a hold of Johnny to see how she is doing. We are packing up right now, getting ready to head back to Bearskin. January 17 The latest update on Judy. I tried calling her twice. I wasn't able to speak to her cause she was in pain. My son-in law said two of her doctors came to see her today. They said surgery is the only option there is. The infection where she's sick has spread. The Surgeon hasn't come by to see her yet. January 17 Good Morning. Cold Morning here in Hudson. Keenan has gone to school. Im waiting for my friend Clarence to finish cooking breakfast. Going to Dryden later on today. It's after midnight now..we had a meeting with one of her Doctors in the afternoon, January 16.She was given ati-biotics back in december. And it has not been working for her. Doctor said they will be giving her the atibiotics for 4-8 weeks more.There hasn't been any improvement since she was admitted in the hospital. The recent MRI showed that her infection on the spine area has gotten worse. This infection had been in some other area and went to her blood and eventually went to her back. Another question asked was..is there anything that can be done to help her? Sounded like they have nothing more they can do but to try and make her feel comfortable by giving her stronger meds. Those would work for 10-12 hours. She did mention surgery, but that would be very high risk and probably would not make it through.This is because of her condition, being a diabetic and kidney failure, asthma. I'll just say it this way.. It's all in God's hands. We ask that you keep praying for her. I asked Judy if it was alright if i talked about her on my page. She said it was ok to do that. If anyone wants to go see her, or to pray for her, show support. She stays in 3C- room 361 at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.She goes by the name of Christine Kitchense.

Footprints in the Sand Poem

Last night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonged to me, the other to the Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. ¡°Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.

The Lord replied, My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of suffering, when you could see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.
