Been so busy today. I am thankful for God's love and mercy. I will get to see my grandson Jordan again. We will be leaving from here tomorrow to attend Jordan's Homecoming party that will take place in Sioux Lookout. Not sure when Jordan's travel back home will be. It hasn't been arranged yet because of the non-insured office is closed today in Sioux. Right now main thing is his poor mummy is running around looking for the games he wants for his DSI, so if we don't hear from Amanda today, that means she got lost out there somewhere big time, lol. Have a good evening.

evening update..
Jordan says he's going home 2 more sleeps. First time i got to hear his sweet little voice since his accident. Told me a couple times that he loves me, such a sweet little boy. Doctor said CT-Scan looks okay. One more day of physio. At first he was in pain when he started walking. He was able to walk down the hall using a walker. He can go to the washroom with a walker. He also started eating today. He will be on a soft diet for a month.
Good morning, people have been calling here asking how Lil' Jordan is doing. Here's a brief update about my grandson.
spoke with Amanda again this morning. Jordan is a bit sore from the surgery. And he's given morphine for that. and the swelling has went down. Doctor said that a CT scan will be done. Reason for that is because of the physio i mentioned a few days ago. to see if it's alright to move Jordan. And that will follow with an x-ray. He will have the plates on his jaw for six months. Then he will have to go back in to get the plates removed. That is all i have for now. I will keep you posted with further updates. Thanks for your thoughts, prayers. God bless you.

Good evening..Jordan's surgery went okay. Amanda says he's abit swollen. They are letting him rest today. Doctor hasn't come by to talk to her yet.
There are times when my heart is heavy. Sometimes i feel like that i can't go on. But thru prayers i still get by. Alot has been happening with my family. This one hit me hard when i got a call that my grandson got hit by a truck. I didn't know if he was alive. Just got back that day after visiting them for a few days. I didn't know what to think. I just broke down and cried out to God. I thank the good Lord for His mercies. That i will get to see my grandson again. I have been praying for his full recovery. And i know prayers are powerful. Also asking prayers for my daughter inlaw, Samantha. She got medivaced out yesterday. God bless you all.
Good afternoon.. Amanda called not too long ago. She told me that Jordan was on his way to the operating room. He's getting his surgery done. and it will take about an hour. Keep praying for Jordan. All your prayers mean alot to us. thank you.
Good morning, copied this from Sarah's hp...been thinking about my grandson Jordan...he goes through his surgery about noon...so pray that he aces this too...may his Guardian Angel contiue to protect him.... May the Lord comfort his mother..Amanda today and give her strength... that is all that has been in my thots all morning...been up for a while...just giving Thanks to the Lord for HIS love and comfort....

Update on Jordan
Just finished talking to my daughter. She said MRI looks okay, and his neckbrace is off...so he's a happy boy now, he didn't like wearing that. They are letting him drink for now. He's asking for ice tea to drink. Surgeon will be putting a plate or a pin, whatever is better to hold his jaw in place.
She said they tried sitting him up on his own, and he couldn't do it. So they put his bed to be in a sitting position, but not too high. He will be having a physio within the next 2 days. He will be using a wheel chair for now. Doctor doesn't want him to stand up on his own. Because of the fractures he has on his pelvis.
So granma has to phone around soon to check prices for a little wheelchair for Jordan. I think that's about it for now. I always try and write down what Amanda says when i talk to her. Cause i tend to forget easy sometimes. I will update again after his surgery tomorrow.

My evening update on my grandson. Late afternoon doctors finally stitched up the big gash on Jordans head. Everything went well. He's drinking juice using a straw. He is still taking morphine for comfort. MRI will be done tomorrow to check his neck for injuries. If it looks ok they will take the neck brace off. They will see tomorrow if they need to do plastic surgery to his face. He's been asking if he can get up, but they are not letting him sit up yet. He called his brother Keenan twice today as hes been asking for him all day. My little grandson still needs your prayers.
Thank you to all who signed my c-box, and have been pasing messages to my daughter. She says thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
Jordan has 2 fractures on his jaw and will need to wear a brace for his jaw, and will be getting plastic surgery on face tomorrow, he has a big gash on his head that got stitches, the doctor also said he has fractures on both sides of his pelvis midsection that will not affect him. They also see a something small on his liver and fluid in his stomach. He has a lot of injuries but nothing that is life threatening. Jordon is on morphine for pain, he talks when he is awake. The doctors are amazed that hes alive.

From what I heard Jordan was unconscious after he was hit, his brother Keenan was carrying him and laid him on the grass a lady came by and seen that Jordan was unconscious and not breathing she prayed for him and he started breathing again she went to talk to Sarah this morning about what she saw and that she prayed for him.
Just doing a briefly update about my grandson. Amanda called from London Ont. 6:30 this morning said they took Jordon for a ct scan. and from there doctors will know if they need to do a surgery on him. Would like to say thank-you to Amanda's aunts and cuzins for looking after her other kids and for being there with her yesterday. And also to the people that were at the hospital with them. Thank-you for your prayers. will be back again later today.
Here to say that Amanda recieves texts but cannot text back for some reason. But she says, Thank you for the love, support and prayer towards the family and Jordan.

I can't really say what I wanna say, But I wanna ask for prayers for my Grandson. Jordan Fontaine he is about 5 years old, a vehicle hit him in Souix this late evening. He's getting medivaced to London Ont. tonight, thats all I can say for now. If anyone wants to know more can call me.

SD Mekanak..yes Keenan played a big part in keeping his lil brother calm...keeenan told him that he will be okay..that Jesus is taking care of you...and he also mention Kookum Bear is caring for you......and Jordan did calm down and nodded his head in agreement with his brother....almost cried but Keenan was also my strength too....
Keenan has been my hero and always have been...i thank God for this little boy...
Footprints in the Sand Poem
Last night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonged to me, the other to the Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. ¡°Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.
The Lord replied, My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of suffering, when you could see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.
